Ricardo Armendariz serves as the Managing Director of Forma. He has over 15 years experience in the governmental and political arena. His primary responsibilities as Managing Director are general consulting, lobbying and business operations. He has extensive experience working with a diverse group of clients, non-profits, political campaigns, political action committees, (c)4 and on industry specific issues on a variety of levels, including outreach, lobbying, strategy and campaigning. Clients represented include segments of the property development industry, gaming and casino issues, county mutual insurers, newspapers, tort reform, education reform and mental health.
Ricardo Armendariz has been involved at a variety of capacities in numerous candidate campaigns throughout the state of Texas, from municipal to congressional, and has worked with national PAC’s, C-4’s and Super PAC’s. He has also headed up efforts for municipal bond elections, ISD bond elections and tax ratification elections. In 2011 he was named one of the Top 10 Consultants in Texas by Capitol Inside. In addition, he is developing the European political market in partnership with a small consortium of nationally recognized data mining and campaign experts. Prior to joining Forma, Ricardo Armendariz served as the first Inter-Governmental Affairs Officer for the City of El Paso, Texas representing municipal interests at the local, state and federal level for several Mayoral administrations. He also served as Legislative Director for a member of the Texas House of Representatives in Austin and has experience in the drafting, analysis and passage of legislation and the legislative process.
Clients range from local school districts and businesses to national sports leagues and minor league teams. Mr. Armendariz is a native of El Paso, Texas and received his Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso.
